I’m a huge Dempsey fan and have read every book I could find always pointing to a Flame of Pure Fire as the best book on Dempsey because it just took the best parts of all of Dempsey’s autobiographies and put them into one book but this collection of three books are by far my favourite now. So in-depth and with a load of rare photos goes well beyond anyone else’s biography on the great fighter. Definitely a must have for any lover of boxing history and for a Dempsey fan. I predict these will be extremely valuable in the future, so get your first editions while you can.

The 3rd entry in the series covering Jack Dempsey’s career inside and outside of the ring is another highly detailed look with hundreds of stories ive never read before and photographs ive never seen.Wikipedia isnt big enough to store this information.

I have learned a tremendous amount more about the man and the whole era throughout the series. These are essential books.
